Jackson High School has hired former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Quinn Gray as its new head coach.

The Times-Union reports that Gray always wanted to get into coaching when his NFL career ended.  Gray takes-over for Kevin Sullivan, who left to take the head coaching job at Atlantic Coast after back-to-back 11-1 seasons.

In six NFL seasons (5 yrs. with Jacksonville, 1 yr. with Kansas City), Gray started four games, completed 57% of his passes, threw 13 touchdown passes and ran for two others.
